What is SEND?

A child or young person has special educational needs and disabilities if they have a learning difficulty and/or a disability that means they need special health and education support, we shorten this to SEND.

We work together at Barn Lodge Childcare to ensure equality and inclusion for all.

There are 4 broad areas of Special Educational Needs, these are:

Cognition and Learning. ...

Social, Emotional and Mental Health. ...

Sensory and/or Physical Difficulties.

We will work with our parents and carers to identify the right approach for your child and to access the additional support they may need.
